Yesterday (27th March), we hosted the March Network Meeting for London STEM Ambassadors.
In this month’s meeting:
- Attendees introduced themselves by summarising their roles in just two words – no job titles allowed!
- Anna shared an update on the number of active Ambassadors and volunteering hours in London this year.
- The group explored upcoming volunteering opportunities, including the STEM Clubs Technicians Programmes, and Climate Ambassadors with Lochlann (Regional Hub Manager for the programme in London).
- Danielle shared some information on our ‘This Is Me’ training sessions, and we then heard from STEM Ambassador, Emily, who share her experiences of developing and delivering her presentation.
- We then looked at resources to support our volunteering, including resources collections, activity ideas to highlight the maths in your role, and Explorify!
